A new exclusive clover leaf event for a limited number of classic cars of all ages using some of the most scenic routes in the west of Scotland. 

Based at a classic 5 star Highland hotel near Inverness, the four day event takes place in the Spring, one of the most stunning times of year when there is a touch of winter but the roads are clear and empty. We include 4 nights’ accommodation including breakfast and stunning evening meals. Our service crew will be on hand to help you during the event.

Competition is Regularity and the navigation is mainly by Tulip Book with one map section. Codeboards will also be used to show the correct route has been travelled and this will be a separate competition for the navigators and will not count towards overall results. Our Virtual Marshal system will track you and provide accurate timings for the Regularity sections.

 Once back in the hotel the open fire acts as a focus to tell the stories of the day while sipping a wee dram. We have coffee, lunch and petrol stations to help you get round in good spirits.

Day 1. 9th March 2023
Dornoch, The Struie and The Black Isle
 

A gentle run to the first of two regularities before passing the Glenmorangie Whisky centre and into Dornoch where there are several cafes for refreshments. Luigis in the Main Street will be open and ready to serve warming coffees and teas.

After Dornoch a 14km regularity takes you across to Bonar Bridge and from there on the B9176, famous for its great views and flowing driving route back to Allness. Onto the Cromarty Firth and Black Isle on very unpopulated roads before returning to the hotel.

Day 2.  10th March 2023
Lochness (including The Corkscrew)

A longer day with an optional loop on the famous Corkscrew road – its tight, narrow and steep and is a challenge for larger cars  There are two short regularities including some smooth gravel to start, then a drive past Beauly down to Loch Ness.

After rounding the top of Loch Ness we head down to Dores for a regularity of about 20 Kms using your map skills. After that there is the option to do the famous Corkscrew loop and onto afternoon refreshments. After tea we head homewards via the southern end of the Loch at Fort Augustus.

Day 3.  11th March 2023
Wester Ross

A slightly longer day but with quite fast roads. Today we are straight into a 20km regularity loop near the hotel. The route today is very scenic with a lot of
flowing driving.

There is a great coffee halt at Achnasheen at the Midge Bite, a rare café open at this time of year. For lunch we stop at the Old Inn at Gairloch with local sourced and home cooked food. The route is very scenic as we head onto Loch Ewe where the Russian artic convoys started from in WW2 out of Aultbea village. From there you pass Gruinard Bay. We return to the warming fire at our 5 star hotel and a final dinner and prizegiving.
