Embark on an extraordinary driving adventure through the heart of Central America and beyond. The Maya Rally 2027 is a once-in-a-lifetime journey for owners of pre-1990 (and selected true classic) left-hand drive vehicles, travelling from Panama to the USA across eight remarkable countries.
From the engineering wonder of the Panama Canal to the vibrant streets of New Orleans, this 30-day expedition follows spectacular roads through rainforests, mountains, volcanic landscapes and colonial towns. Along the way, you’ll discover world-class Mayan archaeological sites including Copán, Tikal, Chichén Itzá and Palenque, relax in volcanic hot springs beneath Arenal, explore unspoiled locations far from mainstream tourism, and experience the warm welcome of local communities who love to see classic cars arrive.

By charting our way via the various Mayan sites we have discovered excellent accommodation along the way. Hotel and breakfast every day plus most evening meals are included.
THE BACK-UP
We provide mechanical back-up and will be taking a medic for those little ailments.
THE ROADS
It is virtually all tarmac so is suitable for all types of vehicles. There are speedbumps so a good ground clearance is preferable.
THE CLIMATE
It goes without saying that although we are going at the best time of year, it is still a hot and sticky environment and you should expect some rain from time to time. In the hills of course it will be cooler and less humid while on the coast expect it to be hot and dry.
